Description
Taphole clay is a refractory material used to seal the tap hole. It can be divided into two categories: water bearing taphole clay and water free taphole clay. The former is used in small and medium alloy furnaces with low top pressure and low level of intensified smelting, and the latter On large and medium-sized alloy furnaces with high top pressure and high degree of intensified smelting. The water taphole clay is used in small and medium-sized blast furnaces with a lower top pressure and lower strengthening smelting. The Waterless taphole clay used on large and medium blast furnaces with higher top pressure and higher smelting intensity. Compared with the traditional water bearing tape hole clay, Water free tape hole clay is favored by more and more iron and steel enterprises due to its excellent performance and environmental advantages.
